Thrilling pixel-designed puzzle game
BOMBASTIC is a free immersive puzzle platformer game developed by NOWARE Games. Here, you’ll play as the bomb figure, named Spidey, who brings explosive impact with every step or jump made. You can use the exploding jump move to destroy an orange block, activate cannons, and create chain reactions. All these will greatly help you to easily remove all the orange blocks from each level, simultaneously. It contains 30 exciting and fun levels, and you must avoid jumping or falling into pitfalls as well as running into spikes or standing in front of a ticking cannon to survive.
Highly-polished demo game
BOMBASTIC is in the early stage of development. But, despite that fact, it still successfully delivers innovative game level design and tight controls. When it comes to difficulty, each stage is uniquely created that whenever you make progress in the game, the level of complexity also becomes more intense. You can undergo a trial-and-error method to master each game phase.
BOMBASTIC offers you two different sets of game controls, the GamePad Controls and Keyboard Controls. If you are using gamepad controls, the left or right DPAD is for movement, the face button 1 is for jump, select or action, and the start is for pausing the game. Select, on the other hand, is for restarting the level. Meanwhile, if you are using the keyboard controls, the left or right arrow keys are for movement, the spacebar is for jumping, R is for level restarting, F is for toggle fullscreen, M is for muting or unmuting of music. ESC is for pausing the game.
No doubt, BOMBASTIC is an impressive game that perfectly balances both the platformer and puzzle elements. Of course, there are still some areas that need improvement, such as enhancement of its menu tool. However, it can easily be overlooked because of how it exhibits a notable game experience.
